The lessons have been set up and are run by Mrs Thompson, and she has a lot of exciting ideas. "The hall was built in 1919 to commemorate the end of the First World War so it's been a central part of our community for nearly 100 years. It's widely used so it's extremely important we continue to maintain and improve the facilities. "Last year we saw more than 700 cats, dogs and small animals come to the centre for rehoming. We rely on donations to enable us to provide the care, veterinary attention and behaviour training needed before the animals go to their new homes, so being able to develop our paddock and use it to hold events will be extremely beneficial in helping us to raise vital funds.
